Application
Hydrogenated silicone oil has excellent hydrophobicity and is suitable for surface treatment of glass, metal, fiber, powder and many other occasions.
This product can cross-link into a film at low temperature under the action of metal salt catalysts, forming a waterproof film on the surface of various materials. It can be used as a waterproofing agent for various materials such as fabrics, glass, ceramics, paper, leather, metal, cement, marble, etc., especially for fabrics. In addition, it is used as an anti-sticking release agent and cross-linking agent for paper.
(1) Can be used for treatment of powders and granular materials to make them water repellent.
(2) Can be used for water repellent treatment of textiles (flat, natural, synthetic or mixed, knitted, non woven fabrics) either in a solvent system or in an aqueous emulsion using an appropriate technique.
(3) Can be used for impregnation of cylinder head gaskets in order to improve their permeability properties.
(4) Can be used for treatment of dry-spayed substances (like extinguisher powders, various silicone fillers) to make them free flowing and to reduce caking.
(5) Can be used for water repellent (hydrophobing) treatment of plasterboard and plaster blocks.
Packaging and Storage
Methyl hydrogen silicone oil is supplied in 200Kg steel drum or 1000Kg IBC container.
Avoid contact with alkaline substances, prevent acid and moisture, store in a cool and dry place, the storage period is more than one year, if it exceeds the period, it can be re-inspected according to the standard, and it can still be used if it is qualified. It is a non-dangerous product.
