Application
(1) Low molecular weight hydroxy silicone oil is often used to prepare block polymers and defoamers. It is widely used in the silicone rubber products industry and is an excellent structure control agent commonly used in silicone rubber processing. It can improve the processing performance of silicone rubber, extend the storage life of the rubber, increase the transparency of rubber products, and improve the mechanical properties of silicone rubber. It is also used to prepare cationic, anionic, and non-ionic hydroxy silicone oil emulsions (hydroxy emulsions), and is used in combination with hydrogen-containing silicone oils. It is an excellent treatment agent for fabrics, leather, and paper.
(2) High molecular weight hydroxy silicone oil is mainly used as the base rubber for room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber. The various silicone rubber products made from it are resistant to high and low temperatures, oxidation resistance, and have excellent electrical insulation. It is widely used in electronics, electrical appliances, defense cutting-edge science and technology fields, and other industrial sectors.
(3) Silicone rubber
Low molecular weight dimethyl hydroxy silicone oil has a good anti-structural effect and can be used as a silicone rubber structure control agent (wetting agent).
(4) Softener
Dimethylhydroxy silicone oil and dimethylhydrogensiloxane are mixed to form an organic silicone emulsion, which is used for fabric finishing. It can react to form an organic silicone film covering the surface of the fabric.
(5) Concrete additive
Hydroxy silicone oil emulsion is added to the mixing water and mixed with cement and aggregate to form concrete. It can improve the antifreeze performance of concrete, reduce the dynamic elastic coefficient less, and the compressive strength and flexural strength are higher than those of aerated concrete.
(6) Environmental treatment
Hydroxy silicone oil can be used to develop oil-absorbing materials for handling various oil spill accidents. This material has a good effect on the recovery of liquid oil on the water surface.
Packaging and Storage
Hydroxyl silicone oil should be packed in clean, sealed iron barrels or plastic barrels with internal coating. It is a non-dangerous product.
It should be avoided from direct exposure to sunlight and acidic and alkaline substances during transportation. It should be stored in a well-ventilated warehouse. It should be protected from rain, moisture and sunlight during transportation. The product should be stored in a ventilated and dry warehouse at a storage temperature of -50~40℃.
The storage period is eight months from the date of production. If the storage period exceeds the storage period, the product quality can be inspected in accordance with relevant standards. If it meets the standard requirements, it can still be used.
